Just prior to shooting his role as James Bond in Goldeneye (1995), Pierce Brosnan had had surgery on his hand to repair a damaged tendon. There were some initial healing complications which came up in shooting, in particular the scene where Bond pulls a gun on Zukovsky (Robbie Coltrane).
In the first couple of takes of this close-up shot, Brosnan’s little finger wouldn’t stay around the gun owing to this and would stick out. To correct this, he stuck his little finger to the gun with a band-aid, which is visible in the shot in the movie.
