It started out as a very harmless little thing in our weekly team meeting. I don't even remember what the first one was, just something that came up in the meeting sparked a memory of something interesting and related, and it was announced in the 'any other business', as "Fun fact: ..."
It soon became an oddly regular fixture in our team meetings, even adopting a shifting name as the meeting moved, whether it was Trivia Tuesday, or the regular Fun Fact Friday.
At some point it seemed like a thing worth archiving, and here we are.
